Privacy Policy

Last updated 22 September 2026.

1. Who We Are

The Chairman Ltd (company number 17431416, registered office: Flamingo Land, Kirby Misperton, Malton, England, YO17 6UX) is the data controller responsible for your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law.

2. What We Collect

Account details (name, email, company); the products you hold and request, and any repeat orders; messages and details you submit through consulting enquiries; and basic technical information (such as IP address) used to keep sign-in secure and to prevent abuse.

3. How We Use It

To provide and manage your account and the products/services you've requested, to respond to enquiries, to keep the Portal secure (including rate-limiting and fraud prevention), and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the Portal, and legal obligation where applicable.

4. Who We Share It With

We share data only where needed to run the Portal: our database and authentication provider (Supabase), and, where configured, our transactional email provider (Resend) and internal team alerts (Slack), each acting as a processor on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. International Transfers

Some of the providers above may process or store data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

6. How Long We Keep It

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution needs, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, object to certain processing, or request a portable copy. Contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

8. Cookies

The Portal does not currently use analytics or tracking cookies. We use only the technical storage needed to keep you signed in.

9. Security

Access to the Portal is protected by encrypted connections, role-based access controls limiting each client to their own data, and rate limiting on sign-in and form submissions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Portal after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
